Seminar on "The changing landscape of UK statistics and the road to professionalisation of Data Science"

A seminar on "The changing landscape of UK statistics and the road to professionalisation of Data Science" was jointly organised by HKSS and City University of Hong Kong on 6 Nov 2023.  As the Vice President for Professional Affairs in Royal Statistical Society and Chair of the Alliance for Data Science Professionals, Prof. Rachel Hilliam was invited as the speaker.  This seminar provided a valuable opportunity for us to know how the development of Data Science has shaped the role of statisticians in the UK.
